Sustainable Wineries in Paso Robles
This first blog post related to travel is a highlight of some sustainable wineries in Paso Robles.
After elaborate research and planning for a day-long girls wine tasting trip in the Paso Robles wine country, weather precluded the trip. BUT, plan B was a delicious and cozy substitute. It turned in to an ode to Galentine’s. (See Instagram for a Reel of the afternoon’s highlights.)
To plan the trip, I cross referenced articles, maps, websites, and my own experience driving through Paso. In order to make the most of the day trip, I worked on grouping wineries in general proximity. As my research continued, I found multiple winery websites that detail their prior, current, or future endeavors with sustainable growing and wine making practices. This information helped me to narrow a focus for the wineries to choose. As opposed to random selections, a sustainable theme emerged.
My fingers are crossed to be able to make this trip soon, but there was no way I was going to wait to share my plan. The sustainable wineries are linked below for your reference. Happy tasting!
When at the grocery store or your respective wine store, I encourage you to read labels and choose wineries from your local area or state.
